چکیده
Postoperative recurrence and metastasis of papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) to the superior vena cava (SVC) right atrium (RA) are rare. The application Extracorporeal Jugular-femoral Vein Bypass anesthesia management for SVC reconstruction in this rare situation holds instructive significance. In case, we describe successful a patient with multiple tumor thrombi due postoperative PTC. diagnosis was based on computed tomography chest blood vessels, revealing three-dimensional SVC, PTC, internal jugular vein (IJV), subclavian vein, brachiocephalic RA. An experienced multidisciplinary team established, detailed plan made respiration circulation support, cardiopulmonary bypass standby.

Primary neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) of the mediastinum is a rare type of carcinoma. According to the literature, only five cases of this condition have been reported so far. In this paper, we present a rare case of mediastinal NEC of unknown primary site. The patient was a 34-year-old man with mediastinal NEC, who presented with chronic dry cough and a right-sided mediastinal mass one year p...

We reported the case of a 78-year old woman with the inadvertent superior vena cava injury resulting from hemodialysis catheter placement. The catheter was placed through the left internal jugular vein. Hemodynamics were stable. The initial chest film illustrated an extraluminal catheter and mediastinal widening. The patient did not have hemothorax. Computed tomography venography also confirmed...

We thank Spodickfor reminding us that the word ' ' transmural" is imprecise and ambiguous . We were simply referring to our findings that infarcts characterized electrocardiographically by early ST elevation and the evolution of Q waves, which are classically called " transmural," are those infarctions also frequently associated with reciprocal change. We agree that they do not necessarily invo...
